Taken on heathland near Minsmere in Suffolk.
There were lots of rabbits lazing around in the morning sun amongst the grass which was flecked heavily with a seeding red variety. I crept over to the edge of the field at which point the rabbits closest darted back to safety as I had no hidden approach to where I wanted to take the shot from.
I hid myself up behind a camo sheet and some bracken lying down and the started what I call the uncomfortable wait.
I had a shot visualised in my head of a single rabbit with a nice blurred background with the lovely red tinge to it. As always the rabbits are wild and will never pose for you so its a waiting game. This was one of my better shots after 3 hours of waiting trying not to fidget too much and having to pee sideways lying down which requires an element of skill and pressure so as not to end up in a wet patch!!
